This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs all bookings made with Whispering Earth LLP, operating under the MyEcoTour brand. Because every journey we design is bespoke and contracted with independent lodges, naturalists, and partners on your behalf, refund timelines reflect commitments we have already made.
1. Cancellation by the guest
If you choose to cancel a confirmed booking, the following standard schedule applies (some itineraries — particularly polar voyages, retreats and limited-availability lodges — may carry stricter terms specific to that supplier; these are always communicated in writing at confirmation).

2. Cancellation by MyEcoTour
In the rare event we cannot honour your confirmed itinerary because of operational reasons attributable to us, you will receive a 100% refund of the booking value, or — if you prefer — a comparable rescheduled journey within the next twelve months.
3. Force majeure
If a booking cannot proceed because of events beyond our reasonable control (natural disaster, government restriction, civil unrest, pandemic, supplier failure, etc.), we will work with you to either reschedule the journey or refund the recoverable portion of the booking value after deducting non-refundable supplier commitments. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
4. Refund processing
- Refunds are processed within 10 – 15 working days of cancellation confirmation, to the original mode of payment.
- Any payment-gateway, foreign-exchange or bank charges incurred on the original transaction are not refundable.
- For international wire transfers, intermediary bank charges may be deducted by the corresponding bank network.
5. Modifications
Minor modifications (date shifts, party-size adjustments) requested 45+ days before departure are accommodated without administrative fees, subject to availability. Modifications closer to departure may incur supplier change fees, communicated transparently before confirmation.
