When is the best time to visit the Seychelles?
April–May and October–November — the calm inter-monsoon windows with glassy seas, light winds and superb visibility for snorkelling and diving. The islands stay warm (27–30 °C) year-round.
Which islands should we combine?
The classic trio: Mahé for the capital and southern beaches, Praslin for the UNESCO Vallée de Mai (home of the coco de mer palm), and La Digue for Anse Source d'Argent's granite boulders — explored by bicycle. Ferries link all three in under an hour each.
Can we see the giant tortoises?
Yes — free-roaming Aldabra giant tortoises live on Curieuse Island and La Digue, and the world's largest wild population is on Aldabra Atoll itself, which we can include via a dedicated expedition. Several private-island stays also host resident colonies.
