When is the best time to fly a balloon in Cappadocia?
Balloons fly year-round at dawn, weather permitting (roughly 250 flyable days annually). April–June and September–October offer the most reliable calm-wind mornings and comfortable sightseeing temperatures; winter flights over snow-dusted fairy chimneys are magical but less predictable.
What if my flight is cancelled for weather?
The civil aviation authority makes the call each dawn for everyone's safety. We always schedule your balloon for the first morning of a multi-night stay, leaving built-in backup mornings — and refund in full if no window opens.
Is a cave hotel actually comfortable?
