Common questions
Before you book Antarctica Expedition.
Do I need a visa for this trip?
Galápagos (via Ecuador) and Patagonia (via Chile/Argentina) are visa-on-arrival or e-visa for Indian passport holders. Antarctica expedition voyages need the Chile/Argentina entry visa. We pre-process all paperwork as part of the package.
Are these expedition cruises rough?
The Drake Passage to Antarctica is famously dramatic — our partner ships have stabilisers and we pre-stock scopolamine patches for everyone. Galápagos is calmer (inter-island channels are sheltered). We brief you 4 weeks ahead with seasickness pre-prep.
How long is the journey from India?
Door-to-door is 30+ hours via Doha, Dubai, Madrid or São Paulo. Most travellers stage a one-night stopover (we recommend Madrid or Dubai). We build the rest day into the itinerary cost rather than treating it as a transit cost.
