Vietnam Heritage Cruise

Hanoi, Ha Long Bay & Hoi An, Vietnam

Hanoi, Ha Long Bay & Hoi An — slow-cruised lanterns, karsts and old-world charm.

An eleven-night curated Vietnam itinerary blending UNESCO heritage with quiet luxury. Three nights in Hanoi at a French-colonial heritage hotel in the Old Quarter — street-food walking tours with a Michelin-recommended local chef, water-puppet theatre, and a private Imperial Citadel visit. Two nights aboard a traditional red-sailed wooden junk cruise through Lan Ha Bay (the quieter, plastic-free neighbour of Ha Long) with kayak excursions to floating fishing villages and a Tai-Chi sunrise on deck. Three nights in lantern-lit Hoi An — a private ancient-town walking tour, tailored Ao Dai fitting at a heritage atelier, and a hands-on Tra Que herb-village cooking class. Closing three nights in the Mekong Delta with a homestay aboard a converted sampan, cycle rides through fruit orchards, and a Cai Rang floating-market dawn breakfast. Carbon-offset transfers, plastic-free cruise.

Common questions

Before you book Vietnam Heritage Cruise.

When is the best time to cruise Ha Long Bay?

October through April is the sweet spot — dry, clear skies and 18–24 °C on deck. We avoid the July–August storm window. Our junk-cruise itineraries are tuned so guests get the calmest waters at sunrise for the iconic red-sail photographs.

How many nights do you recommend in Hoi An?

Three nights is the magic number. One evening for the lantern-lit Old Town walk, one full day for the Tra Que cooking class and tailored Ao Dai fitting, and one day in reserve for An Bang beach or the Marble Mountains excursion.

Is the cruise plastic-free and sustainable?

Yes. Our partner junk operator in Lan Ha Bay (the quieter southern wing of Ha Long) has been plastic-free since 2022 — guests are issued refillable bottles, all toiletries are bamboo-fibre, and a per-cabin reef-rangers levy funds the bay clean-up cooperative.

Do I need a visa for Vietnam from India?

Indian passport holders need a Vietnam e-visa (single-entry 90 days) or a visa-on-arrival with prior approval letter. We handle the e-visa application for you 4–6 weeks before departure — included in the package.
